Before I ruin the surprise, I figured I would at least give you a chance to see for yourself....
What started as a blog to relive stress and include distant family members on the details of our pending nuptials has since changed to be about what ever the heck pops in to my head. I am a newlywed, mom to 3 pit bulls and a Mommy to be to a little rug-rat due February 2014. These are our adventures.

20 Week Update!!
How far along? 20 weeks
Total weight gain: Still negative weight gain. I was worried about it, but I also read that most of the weight gain will be coming in the next few weeks. But I am pretty sure my thighs have gotten huge! I feel like I look like an Oompa Loompa. -_-
Maternity clothes? Yep! I'm actually already getting annoyed with the band of these damn pants though. They don't stay up and it just feels annoying after a full day wearing them.
Stretch marks? Oh they're coming. Almost halfway through this and my hope for minimal marks are going out of the window. While I only see a couple, I'm pretty sure there will be a bunch before this kid makes it's appearance.
Sleep: I'm not passing out the moment I walk through the door anymore, but getting up in the mornings is still really difficult. My back is still hurting and my hips don't help.
Best moment this week: Finding out the gender...
Miss anything? Not feeling tired
Movement: Yep! I'm pretty sure the nudges I feel aka little muscle spasms are my little one kicking my butt. :o)
Food cravings: Nothing new
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nope.
Gender: I know what it is!!! And I'm not telling (yet.)
Labor signs: Nope.
Symptoms: My sciatica pain is coming back and the round ligament pain comes and goes. But compares to most, I have it easy.
Belly button in or out? In! (Hopefully it stays that way.)
Wedding rings on or off? On. (I REALLY hope this also stays that way as well.)
Happy or moody most of the time:
Looking forward to: Holding my little baby in my arms. Mister is getting REALLY excited as well. It's all we've talked about none stop this week.

1 Year down... a lifetime to look forward to
On October 5, 2013 I stood and front of 125 of my closest family members and friends. I held the hands of my soul mate and pledged my life, my heart and my love. I knew that day that we had grown leaps and bounds from where we were 5 years prior. I looked in the eyes of the only one who every loved me the same and said "I do." I remember our wedding day like it was yesterday. I wish I could go back and relive all of it because it was so perfect. It may not have been what I had initially thought I had wanted or planned, but it was perfect for us.
This year the plan was to make up for our lack of honeymoon and go away for our one year wedding anniversary... but that was before there was a baby one board. Lol. Yes I could still have traveled, but our funds are on the low side and we'd rather prepare for our little one than go on a trip right now.
So the Mister took it upon himself to plan something for us this year and I loved it. For those who do not know me, I am a hopeless romantic. I love Love and all things cute and romantic. My hubby knew that I had not been feeling up to doing much lately due to lack of energy and my sciatica so he planned a simplistic yet, perfect date. He planned a picnic for us. He took me to the store and picked out a dress for me so that I could be comfortable in what I was wearing, I did my hair and make up and we left the house for our date. On our way out, he grabbed a picnic basket and just smiled. We only went on a picnic once and it was so nice that we kept mentioning that we should do it again, but just had not. He took me to "Firehouse Subs" to get sandwich which was awesome because I have REALLY been wanting a deli sandwich this whole pregnancy and you cannot eat deli meat unless it's steamed (which firehouse does!!) AND they give pickles with every sandwich!! Double score!
Anywho, we jumped on the highway and took off. At first I wasn't 100% sure where our end destination was to be, but once we hit a certain area I just knew. It was the perfect place to have our first anniversary picnic. Mister took me to the site where we held our wedding ceremony. It was right in the Inner Harbor 20 feet from the water and surrounded by tall trees to shade that do not block the beautiful views. It was perfectly romantic. Unfortunately we were not able to sit at the exact place that we said "I do" because there was another wedding taking place, but we were more than ok. We sat along the water and watched as another couple wed in the same place. It was great to see this event from a different perspective.
Before we left Hubby surprised me with visitors. My Maid of Honor, Shauntae, and his Best Man and brother, Aubrey, showed up. (They are actually getting married in the Spring of 2014!) Tae was the one who took our engagement pics last summer. Mister thought that it would be nice to have her come back in take photos of us at our wedding site on our anniversary. While I have not seen those official pics, here is my favorite one of that day.

Where the HECK did you come from?!?!?
Holy Schnikes there's a baby in my belly!!
I know we've all seen those post where woman say "I've finally popped" and "I finally look pregnant." I usually just brush them off as not really caring about their appearance enough to look in to the mirror regularly enough to notice the alien growing inside them. Now I stand corrected.... I've finally popped! Lol.
